//Outrace

On my trip to London a couple of weeks ago (see pictures from the trip here) I came across this installation called “Outrace”. Several industrial robots from Audi are placed in a circle, all with a strip of LED lights on their “hands”. Around them are cameras with long shutter speed placed. People were able to write messages on an iPad and through that the messages were send to the installation. The robots now receive one letter each and draw it in the air. The cameras catches the light movements and the letters are now all put together to the message, which is shown on the LED screens under the robots.

The combination of the industrial, robot look and at the same time their very gracious and soft movements were amazing to watch! Below is a short video I shot with my iPhone. Read more about the installation here.

// London through iPhone

I just got home from a small vacation in London. In the four days I was there I managed to both visit family, attend the AdTech conference, the London Fashion Week and the London Design Week (which I will soon post something from in the ”other peoples work” section). As I wanted to travel light I didn’t bring my Nikon DSLR. Instead I only used my iPhone to take pictures, which led to the little album below. Feel free to drop a comment and let me know what you think.
