Here is a little video of the first working prototype we been making for my exam in Interaction Design. Enjoy!
In one of my classes at the university we have been working with the Arduino. I mentioned this wonderful gadget earlier but briefly to sum up it’s a prototyping unit you quite can program to communicate with other things. It works as kind of a link between your computer and another electronic device. Anyway we managed to make the Arduino communicate with a simple Flash animation. By installing a light sensor on the Arduino we made it possible to move an object in the Flash animation pure magic!….Because the video was used as documentation it’s in Danish.
As I already told you I study Digital Design at the University. This allows me to be extra geeky when i want to. So a couple of months ago i bought myself an Arduino. And what is an Adruino, you may ask. Well… Im beginning to figure out what it is. Its a prototyping unit…! Basicly its a little computer with a breadboard on which you can easily attach LED’s and stuff like that on to. When you write a little program on your laptop you can load this program in to the Arduino and make the lights blink! Amazing!!!
