Last year we recorded the debut album ”Your Train” with Kajsa Vala. The album is now out in America and doing great! Hopefully soon it will be out in Europe too.

Cleaning up my back-up disks today I found a lot of raw footage from the recording session. The quality is not HD but it does the job. I have edited it together to a short video that sums up three pretty hectic days where the whole album was recorded 100% live.

So I’m finally back from Nashville, TN. What a great trip! 30 degrease, sun and great music! Really good to see Kajsa again and see that it’s going GREAT with her new album.. There will be more pictures, stories and video from my trip later.

Things have been a little busy the last month, which explains the inactivity on my blog. I apologize for that. With that said I thought I could use this post to tell you a little about what I have been doing.

This is the new video for the song Grindin’ by Nobody Beats The Drum. It’s an amazing piece of stop/motion work. 4085 photos were used for the video and it’s one of the band members himself who has made the video.
Also, there is a quite funny documentary about the making of the video that you should definitely watch after the video itself.

Sometimes an artist or a band makes a video that simply knocks you off your feet. It can be because the video in some way is innovative, simple or filled with great effects. The band “OK GO” has done this… twice!

Their video for the song “Here it goes again” was one of the first “home made/low budget” music videos that was spread massively through youtube the internet and proved that you don’t have to spend millions of dollars …

I just spend most of last week in the great “A Kind Of Eden” studio, engineering on the new album with “Stereo Love”. The recordings turned out really great and I’m really looking forward to listening to the final results!
Between takes I used my time to create a little stop motion film. I think it turned out great even though I didn’t have a proper camera to take all the pictures with. I’ll make sure to remember that the next time. Enjoy.

Just found this fantastic music video to the track “End Scene” made by danish Troels Abrahamsen. The video is made by Steffen Bygebjerg.
The animation work was made in Adobe After Effects. Each frame was then printed and the print was subsequently scanned back into the computer. The scanned frames were then assembled back into the original animation, now with a new rugged look, created by the visit in the physical analogue world. No effects added after scanning.

It must be time for a little update. Lately I have been in the studio a couple of times. First with Randi Gustafsson and then again last week with Karl Kolind and the Original Soup. Last couple of weeks I have been working on a song for the children’s fan club of my local football team. I was in the jury and helped to pick out the winner and also I produced the track. I think it turned out pretty well. Just like a ”football-fan-song” should go. The song is written by the rapper Støi. The song was played in the halftime at the game last Saturday.
