I just finished a logo for a small indie record label called Peacock Records. They are going to release the new album we recorded with ”Lise Dres & The Black Circus” earlier this year.

Finally! My bachelor assignment is done and turned in. Now I can only wait…

In the mean time I have been playing a bit around with using typography to design with. I have always been kind of a typography geek and I think this way of using text for other text is kind of fun. Anyway this my first little test. I hope you like it.

So the site has been down a couple of days. Sorry about that. The reason is that I wanted to do some small changes. More and more I have wanted the opportunity to post both own work and others work in a way so people easily could browse through both.

If you look at my website now you see that in the left site I have made space for ”Myself” and my own work and in the right side ”Others” and other peoples work. In that way it is easy for me to keep great stuff I come across and my own stuff separate.

The summer has come, almost all my exams are done and Ryanair just opened a new route from Denmark to Sicily with dirt-cheap tickets. Things can’t really be any better.

Right now I’m halfway through my ten-day vacation with my girlfriend in our little Italian paradise. We spend our summer holiday on Sicily once before and ever since we have wanted to get back. We are staying in a beautiful apartment in the small town on the west cost of the island called Trapani.

It’s no secret that I’m a WordPress kind of guy! I have been working with this wonderful open source CMS platform for a couple of years now and I can only say brilliant things about it! Still once in a while I have stumbled upon problems with it when I needed a more straight up CMS system more than a blog system. This issue has resulted in both good and bad things for me. Last year we recorded the debut album ”Your Train” with Kajsa Vala. The album is now out in America and doing great! Hopefully soon it will be out in Europe too.

Cleaning up my back-up disks today I found a lot of raw footage from the recording session. The quality is not HD but it does the job. I have edited it together to a short video that sums up three pretty hectic days where the whole album was recorded 100% live.

I’m in the middle of my written exams so what better time than now for the weekly ”cleaning up the desktop”! Doing this I found a couple of graphic pieces I thought I could post. It’s a little of everything both adds, t-shirt designs and… Yeah whatever.

I recently finished a new website for the company Eventmageriet. Eventmageriet is a brand new collaboration between the second largest festival in Denmark called ”Smukfest” and ”Idræts Højskolen Aarhus”.  It’s a 13-month class where people will be educated in the different perspectives of event making and happenings.
The website is optimized for social networking with both their twitter stream and also the Facebook ”Like” button implemented. It’s also possible to become fan and follow their Facebook page directly from the website.
